Sarosh is responsible for identifying and developing strategic relationships that leverage Meru's unique WLAN architecture and premier technology position. Mr. Vesuna joined Meru Networks from Motorola, where as Sr. Director of Strategy & Business Development he was responsible for acquisitions, partnerships and the overall direction of its WLAN business. Prior to Motorola, Sarosh spent 15 years at Symbol Technologies, leading multiple initiatives in voice over IP, location systems, mobility management and network security. During his tenure at Symbol, Sarosh co-authored the IEEE 802.11 WLAN protocol and co-founded the Wi-Fi Alliance, where he served on the Board of Directors, for 5 years. He also initiated and nurtured many complex OEM relationships, including a multi-million dollar deal with Intel that led to the Centrino platform. Previously, Sarosh held executive positions at Chips & Technologies (acquired by Intel), Wyse Technology (acquired by private equity) and AMD. Sarosh holds 5 U.S. patents and 11 published patent applications. He is a frequent author of articles in industry publications and speaker at wireless, networking & investment conferences. Sarosh holds an M.S.E.E. from The Pennsylvania State University, a B.S.E.E from the University of Bombay and Executive Education from MIT Sloan and Stanford Graduate School of Business. |
